Acceptance of Terms
By using Semester OS, you agree to use the service responsibly for academic planning, study organization, and productivity purposes.
If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use Semester OS or connect your Google account.
Use of Service
Semester OS helps users create study plans, schedule study blocks, read supported academic files, and organize academic execution workflows.
- You agree not to misuse Semester OS or attempt to access another user's data.
- You agree not to interfere with the backend, API, authentication system, or connected services.
- You agree to use Semester OS for legitimate academic planning and productivity.
Connected Accounts
Semester OS may connect to your Google account after you authorize access. Connected features may include Google Calendar study blocks and Google Drive file access.
You are responsible for keeping your Semester OS user key private. Anyone with access to your user key may be able to trigger connected Semester OS actions.
Academic Integrity
Semester OS is designed to support legitimate studying, revision, planning, and academic execution.
- Do not use Semester OS for cheating.
- Do not use Semester OS for plagiarism.
- Do not use Semester OS to create fake attendance, fake documents, or dishonest academic records.
- Do not use Semester OS to bypass university, school, or instructor rules.
Third-Party Services
Semester OS integrates with Google services. Your use of Google services is subject to Google's own terms, privacy policies, limits, and availability.
Semester OS is not responsible for outages, access changes, rate limits, or policy changes from third-party services.
Availability
Semester OS is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or compatibility with every file type, academic system, browser, device, or workflow.
Features may change, improve, or be removed over time as the product evolves.
Limitation of Liability
Semester OS is a planning and productivity tool. Users are responsible for verifying deadlines, schedules, academic requirements, calendar events, file contents, and submitted work.
Semester OS does not guarantee grades, academic outcomes, exam performance, or assignment results.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms as Semester OS evolves. Continued use of Semester OS after changes means you accept the updated terms.
